Warmer Weather

I am glad we have finally broken this cold snap. I walked outside this morning to get in the car to go to work and it almost felt warm...even though it was 28 degrees. It is supposed to be 50 by Thursday.

On a more stressful note, my insomnia is back with a vengeance. For the first time, perhaps ever, I was unable to sleep at all. Not one minute. I am really paying for it today. Looking forward to going home at 4 so I can go to sleep...finally.

Home Alone

Boy, it has been a long time since I posted anything. Lauren is in Vermont for the week so it is just me and the pups. I am also working from home which is making me a little cabin feverish. I think I will go to Asheville today to get out and about.

Took a cute video of the pups playing in my home office last night...mainly for Lauren...

$1.95 gasoline? I never thought I would see this day again!

Can you believe it?? We are back below $2 a gallon for gas. According to my mom, in South Carolina, where the gas taxes are lower, it is going for $1.63 a gallon!

Snow!

We got our first bit of snow of the season this morning. It was a little harry driving down the country road I live on to get out to the highway...but the way to Sylva was clear and by the time I arrived at work there were no flakes falling. It is amazing how much a difference 30 miles and 1,000 feet can make.
