Who’d Have Expected to See Them
You’d think that on another continent, you wouldn’t bump into people you know, but it’s an extraordinarily small world. While we were at the holiday village red sea in egypt, we happened to bump into our friends Ted and Ann. We had no idea they were coming here. All I knew was that they were planning a holiday to Egypt at some point. We weren’t sure if it was a blessing or a curse to bump into friends on holiday. Now we were emotionally obligated to spend the holiday with them, which wasn’t the idea. As much as we wanted to go off and do our own thing (which was the entire point of the holiday!) we were not stuck with my work mate. Work was the last thing I wanted to talk about, as good a guy as Ted was! Over a beer, I banned the conversation of work.
